Brittany Miller
Founder: Family Navigation Specialist
Brittany's passion for children and families is deeply rooted in her faith, her family, and her love for her community. Her professional background includes directing childcare programs as well as working directly with children and families involved in Missouri's child welfare system. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to supporting families through difficult seasons while keeping the safety and well-being of children at the center.
Outside of her professional work, Brittany is a wife and mother of five. She is also a foster and adoptive parent, giving her the unique experience of seeing the child welfare system from multiple perspectives. Through both her personal and professional experiences, Brittany has developed a strong belief in family preservation and in supporting biological parents when safe reunification is possible.
Faith is an important part of Brittany's life and influences the compassion and care she brings to others. She has a giving heart, loves her community, and believes in meeting people without judgment while recognizing that meaningful change also requires growth and accountability.
As Co-Founder of Destination Families Together Initiative, Brittany brings these experiences together to provide families with encouragement, practical support, and someone willing to walk alongside them as they work toward greater stability. She believes families deserve the opportunity and support to make meaningful changes and, whenever safely possible, remain together or find their way back to one another.

Shelby Snider
Founder: Family Navigation Specialist
Shelby's passion for helping children and families is shaped by both professional and lived experience. Her career began in healthcare, where she worked in geriatric care, pediatrics, emergency care, and behavioral health before eventually transitioning to work with children and families involved in Missouri's child welfare system. She also has experience working with children with special education needs.
Outside of her professional work, Shelby is a wife and mother of five who enjoys life with her family on their small farm. As the mother of two children with special needs, she understands firsthand the importance of advocacy, individualized support, and making sure families feel heard when navigating complicated systems.
Shelby's commitment to family preservation is also deeply personal. Growing up in a family impacted by addiction and working to break generational cycles within her own family has shaped her belief that a person's past does not have to determine their family's future. Looking back, she often wonders how different her own family's story may have been if meaningful family preservation services and support had been available.
Shelby founded Destination Families Together Initiative with the belief that families sometimes need more than a referral or a list of resources. Her approach combines compassion with accountability and focuses on practical, hands-on support that helps families overcome barriers, build lasting stability, and work toward safe and lasting outcomes for their children.
